Kentuckiana Chapter

The Kentuckiana Chapter of the Society for Technical Communication was founded in 1986 and currently has 60+ members. Chapter activities include four meetings per year (Sept, Nov, Feb, Apr/May) a community email list (To join, send a message via this link.) Local members are a diverse group, working as technical writers, indexers, educators, technical illustrators, editors, and so on, and employed by universities and companies such as: ADP Administrative Solutions Mediaplex, Inc Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield ASAP Automation Bank One Ceridian Time & Attendance D & E Consulting, LLC Humana, Inc Kleinert, Kutz & Associates Lexmark Morehead State University Purdue University at New Albany Space Hardware Optimization Technology, Inc TechRepublic, Inc United Parcel Service E.ON U.S. As members of the larger STC organization, local members receive the STC monthly magazine, Intercom, as well as the quarterly journal, Technical Communication. STC membership also offers its members access to scholarships and grants, competitions, employment information, and a wealth of information on the field of technical communications.
